Update:
The Duofold Hike 50 Challenge has been Successfully Competed
After seventy five days, it is hard to believe that this intense outdoor adventure is finished.  Fifty one epic hikes, one in every state and D.C. too, it is an unforgettable wish list and the memories will last a lifetime.  From glaciers in Alaska to lava flows in New Mexico, from brilliant fall colors in Wisconsin to the drab colors of a cave in Kentucky, from a forty person hiking group in Michigan to the lonely sleepy night hike of Vermont, from the blizzard in Wyoming to the lightning storm in Arkansas, from sand dunes in Colorado to slot canyons in Utah, from a fantastic moonbow in Hawaii to the dozens of armadillos in Louisiana, The Dog Team feels honored to have such an incredible opportunity.  This adventure could not have happened without the help of hundreds of people from across the country.  Thank you.

Update:
The Outdoor Life Network (OLN) aired our three episode documentary of the Duofold Hike 50 Challenge four times for a total of twelve timeslots.  The documentary is titled "Live Your Passion".  All of our feedback has been extremely positive.  We hope you had an opportunity to enjoy the show.

Duofold Hike 50 Challenge

Duofold challenged The Dog Team to do a 50 kilometer hike in all 50 states in less than 100 days.  It was a celebration as Duofold approaches its 100th year anniversary.  The Dog Team and Duofold made the challenge a tribute to Bob Marshall, a famous crusader for wilderness preservation.  Duofold is living up to its motto of helping people live their passions.  Imagine an epic hike in all 50 states in a matter of a few months.  The start was on September 15th in Portland, Oregon, and the finish was on November 29th in Lake Placid, New York. The finish time was a little less than 75 days.  The Dog Team invited anyone interested to join us for a hike in their state.  To that end, The Dog Team was pleased to meet hundreds of people from across the country.  It was inspiring to us to have people come from far and near to join us in our quest to make history.
